SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Welcome to the home page of the Massachusetts JCI Senate.





We will - usually in the fall -  have the forms you need to apply for scholarships being offered to high school seniors wanting to further their education. If you do not see the forms now during this visit to our site, please come back later and check on their availability.

Please PRINT the form, complete it and mail it as soon as possible. Mail is very slow now,  so don't wait til the last minute and miss the deadline!

PRINT IT AND MAIL IT BY 1/13/23 at the latest. NO DIGITAL SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. ALL MUST BE PRINTED ON PAPER AND MAILED.

Two Massachusetts winners are chosen each year. They receive $1000 each and also become eligible for national scholarships.

The 2022 scholarship recipients were:

Hope ‍Oliveira‍ ‍is ‍a ‍senior ‍at ‍Falmouth ‍High ‍School.  ‍She ‍plans ‍to ‍attend ‍Wake ‍Forest ‍University ‍to ‍study ‍Exercise ‍Physiology
‍She ‍plays ‍field ‍Hockey ‍and ‍lacrosse ‍and ‍is ‍a ‍member ‍of ‍the ‍National ‍Honor ‍Society, ‍attends ‍North ‍Falmouth ‍Congregational ‍Church ‍where ‍she ‍is ‍a ‍Deacon ‍and ‍tech ‍team ‍member. ‍Her ‍guidance ‍counselor ‍wrote.” ‍Hope ‍loves ‍finding ‍interesting ‍ways ‍to ‍fill ‍her ‍time ‍rather ‍than ‍the ‍typical ‍teen ‍scrolling ‍on ‍their ‍phone.  ‍She ‍taught ‍herself ‍to ‍cook, ‍she ‍learned ‍how ‍to ‍strum ‍a ‍guitar, ‍and ‍she ‍reads ‍mystery ‍novels ‍when ‍she ‍is ‍not ‍diving ‍into ‍an ‍AP ‍lit ‍annotation ‍or ‍running ‍to ‍a ‍field ‍hockey ‍or ‍lacrosse ‍practice. ‍She ‍will ‍make ‍the ‍most ‍of ‍her ‍college ‍experience.”
‍She ‍has ‍a ‍lengthy ‍list ‍of ‍volunteering ‍and ‍awards ‍including ‍AP ‍Scholar, ‍John ‍and ‍Abigail ‍Adams ‍Scholarship, ‍and ‍in ‍the ‍Top ‍Ten ‍in ‍class ‍rank.
‍Hope ‍will ‍receive ‍a ‍$1000 ‍scholarship.


‍Victoria ‍Perry‍ ‍is ‍from ‍New ‍Bedford ‍and ‍is ‍the ‍area’s ‍first ‍female ‍Eagle ‍Scout.  ‍She ‍writes ‍that ‍she ‍has ‍a ‍history ‍of ‍breaking ‍barriers.  ‍She ‍will ‍be ‍graduating ‍in ‍May ‍with ‍a ‍high ‍school ‍diploma ‍and ‍an ‍Associate’s ‍degree ‍in ‍Civil ‍Engineering.  ‍She ‍has ‍a ‍conditional ‍acceptance ‍to ‍the ‍United ‍States ‍Naval ‍Academy ‍and ‍plans ‍to ‍graduate ‍with ‍a ‍degree ‍in ‍Aeronautical ‍Engineering.  ‍Her ‍second ‍plan ‍is ‍to ‍receive ‍Purdue ‍University’s ‍Professional ‍Flight ‍degree ‍and ‍commission ‍into ‍the ‍Navy ‍in ‍hopes ‍of ‍becoming ‍a ‍fighter ‍pilot.  ‍She ‍plans ‍to ‍be ‍the ‍first ‍minority ‍female ‍fighter ‍pilot ‍from ‍Southeastern ‍Massachusetts.  ‍ She ‍is ‍a ‍varsity ‍Cross ‍Country ‍and ‍Track ‍member ‍and ‍is ‍also ‍on ‍a ‍Varsity ‍swim ‍team. ‍Victoria ‍has ‍participated ‍in ‍dozens ‍of ‍community ‍service ‍initiatives ‍across ‍Southeastern ‍Massachusetts.  ‍She ‍is ‍a ‍leader ‍in ‍St ‍Francis ‍Youth ‍Group, ‍a ‍lector ‍at ‍Our ‍Lady ‍of ‍Guadalupe, ‍and ‍a ‍member ‍of ‍St ‍John ‍Neumann ‍Choir ‍and ‍Taize ‍Group.
‍Victoria ‍will ‍receive ‍a ‍$1000 ‍scholarship.


‍Raurie ‍Laliberte‍ ‍is ‍a ‍Senior ‍at ‍Westport ‍High ‍School.  ‍She ‍is ‍in ‍guardianship ‍of ‍her ‍great ‍grandmother. ‍Her ‍parents ‍both ‍have ‍issues ‍with ‍addiction ‍and ‍Raurie ‍works ‍20 ‍hours ‍weekly ‍to ‍survive. ‍She ‍is ‍a ‍Student ‍Council ‍Member, ‍Secretary ‍of ‍SADD ‍(Students ‍Against ‍Destructive ‍Decisions ‍and ‍played ‍Varsity ‍Field ‍Hockey ‍and ‍Softball.  ‍She ‍has ‍volunteered ‍at ‍Soup ‍Kitchens, ‍Beach ‍Cleanups, ‍and ‍has ‍been ‍reading ‍books ‍to ‍preschoolers. ‍She ‍hopes ‍to ‍have ‍a ‍career ‍in ‍early ‍childhood ‍education, ‍and ‍works ‍as ‍a ‍teacher’s ‍aide.  ‍Her ‍childhood ‍in ‍the ‍foster ‍care ‍system ‍made ‍her ‍want ‍to ‍be ‍the ‍role ‍model ‍to ‍children ‍that ‍she ‍never ‍had. ‍Raurie ‍has ‍been ‍diagnosed ‍ADHD ‍with ‍anxiety ‍and ‍wants ‍to ‍work ‍with ‍children ‍with ‍disabilities. ‍She ‍is ‍a ‍member ‍of ‍the ‍National ‍Honor ‍Society ‍and ‍is ‍an ‍Honors ‍and ‍AP ‍student.  ‍Her ‍guidance ‍counselor ‍says ‍“ ‍She ‍has ‍the ‍educational ‍skills ‍and ‍life ‍lessons ‍that ‍will ‍enable ‍her ‍to ‍meet
with success every step of the way.”
Raurie will receive a $500 scholarship.
